- We only use email exchange to offer you assistance with the site.

We are dedicated to maintaining the privacy and integrity of your protected health information ("PHI"). PHI is information about you that may be used to identify you (such as your name, social security number, or address), and that relates to your past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition, (b) the provision of health care to you, or (c) your past, present, or future payment for the provision of health care. In providing the Services, we will receive and create records containing your PHI. We believe that choice in how and when you are contacted is key to customer satisfaction, so we offer several ways for you to update your contact information, change your preferences, or opt out of receiving future communications.
We may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process by disclosing your Personal Information and other related information, to the extent required by law. We also may choose to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims and to the extent permitted by law, use your Personal Information in this regard as appropriate. To the extent permitted by law we may share aggregate or anonymous information in various formats with trusted entities, and may work with those entities to do research and provide products and services.
Except as otherwise required by law, we retain the personal information we collect from you for as long as the information is relevant to our business purposes as set out above or until you request that we remove the data by contacting our Privacy Officer.
We use recognized industry safeguards to protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized access or use. We employ industry recognized security safeguards to protect the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us from loss, misuse and unauthorized alteration. If you are required to transmit sensitive information (such as PHI, Social Security and/or credit information) to us through our Web site, we will provide you access to our secure server that allows encryption of your data as it is transmitted to us. We will protect personally identifiable information stored on the site's servers from unauthorized access using commercially available computer security products (e.g., firewalls), as well as carefully developed security procedures and practices.
We will ask for your consent before we use or share your information for any purpose other than the reason you provided it or as otherwise provided by this Privacy Statement. To let us know your preferences, we will require an action on your part, such as checking the appropriate option, to indicate your consent.
We will give you options about how the personal information that you provide us may be used. Before we use your personal information for any purpose, we will give you choices about whether or not to allow us to engage in that use. We will give you the opportunity to keep us from using or sharing the personal information that you have provided to us for purposes other than to fulfill your request. To exercise this choice, we will allow you to notify us of your preferences during the information collection process. If there are third parties that process ehumanlife data, we will require them to hold all personally-identifiable information confidential, and to use our customer information only for the purpose of fulfilling their business obligation. ehumanlife does not sell personally identifiable information to third party marketers.
The Department of Health and Human Services has established a "Privacy Rule" to help insure that personal healthcare information is protected for privacy. ehumanlife is fully compliant with government rules and regulations regarding the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We believe that our Compliance Program will prevent any inappropriate use of your personal health information.
You are under no obligation to provide us with this personal information. We use your personal information to provide the Services and administer your inquiries. You may change or delete any information that you provide.
Personal information we collect and use at this WebSite/Application
When you request information, subscribe to a mailing list or for a service or respond to an online survey, we may collect your personal information. We define "personal information" as information that is unique to you and might include your name, e-mail address(es), mailing address(es), telephone number and certain information related to the business you represent such as number of employees and industry type. If you encounter a screen or page that requests information you do not want to share with us, do not enter the information and do not proceed with that screen or page. If your personal information is required in order to allow us to respond to your inquiry, you will receive a notice advising you of this. In each such instance, you will know what personal information we collect through the WebSite/Application, because you actively submit it.
If you do provide us with personal information, we will only use it (excluding PHI which is subject to different rules) for the purposes described where it is collected, and we will not sell, license, transmit or disclose this information outside of Innovation Specialists or its partnering entities unless (1) you expressly authorize us to do so; (2) it is necessary to allow our service providers, partnering entities or agents to provide services for us or for you; (3) in order to provide our products or services or those of our partnering entities to you; (4) it is disclosed to entities that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other entities with whom we have joint marketing agreements; (5) it is necessary in connection with a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of Innovation Specialists or the merger of Innovation Specialists into another entity or any consolidation, equity exchange, combination, reorganization, or like transaction in which Innovation Specialists is not the survivor, or (6) otherwise as we are required or permitted by law.
If you are a California resident, you may ask us to refrain from sharing your information (whether collected online or offline) with third parties for their marketing purposes. Please tell us your preference by contacting us as indicated in the "How to Contact Us" section of this Policy.
We appreciate your questions and comments about our WebSite/Application and services and welcome your email messages to mailboxes listed on our WebSite/Application. We will share your messages with those within our organization who are most capable of addressing the issues contained in your message. We will keep a copy of your message until we have had an opportunity to address your concerns. We may archive your message for a certain period of time or discard it, but your email address will not be used for any other purpose.
Confidentiality and security measures
We restrict access to personal information collected about you at our WebSite/Application to our employees or others who need to know that information to provide services to you or in the course of conducting our normal business operations. While no WebSite/Application can guarantee security, we maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information collected via the WebSite/Application. We protect our databases with various physical, technical and procedural measures and we restrict access to your information by unauthorized persons. We also advise all Innovation Specialists employees about their responsibility to protect customer data and we provide them with appropriate guidelines for adhering to our company's business ethics standards and confidentiality policies. We respect our current and former customers' privacy and we value your business.
Innovation Specialists will comply with applicable HIPAA Security and HITECH requirements to develop, document, implement, maintain and use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to preserve the integrity, availability and confidentiality of Protected Health Information " as defined under HIPAA.
If we provide your PHI to another party at your instruction, you understand and agree that we are not thereafter responsible for what that third party may do with your PHI and will not have liability for his/her actions.
Use of "Cookies" or other data collection tools
A cookie is a piece of information which a web server may place on your computer when you visit a WebSite/Application. Cookies are commonly used by WebSite/Applications to improve the user experience and have not been known to transmit computer viruses or otherwise harm your computer. Many cookies last only through a single WebSite/Application session, or visit. Others may have an expiration date, or may remain on your computer until you delete them.
Our cookies will track only data relating to your online activity on this WebSite/Application, and will not track your other Internet activity. Our cookies do not gather personally identifiable information.

Upon appropriate request we will usually be glad to update or amend your information, but we reserve the right to use information obtained previously to verify your identity or take other actions that we believe are appropriate and lawful.

Visiting our site from outside of the United States
If you are visiting our site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States, where our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country, but please be assured that we take steps to protect your privacy.
ehumanlife will not disclose Customer Data to law enforcement unless required by law. Should law enforcement contact ehumanlife with a demand for Customer Data, ehumanlife will attempt to redirect the law enforcement agency to request that data directly from Customer. As part of this effort, ehumanlife may provide Customer's basic contact information to the agency. If compelled to disclose Customer Data to law enforcement, ehumanlife will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify Customer in advance of a disclosure unless legally prohibited.
Customer Data Deletion or Return.
Upon expiration or termination of Customer's use of the ehumanlife Online Services, Customer may extract Customer Data and ehumanlife will delete Customer Data, each in accordance with the Product Use Rights.
Transfer of Customer Data; Appointment.
Subject to applicable law, Customer Data that ehumanlife processes on Customer's behalf may be transferred to, and stored and processed in, the United States or any other country in which ehumanlife or its Affiliates or subcontractors maintain facilities. Customer appoints ehumanlife to perform any such transfer of Customer Data to any such country and to store and process Customer Data in order to provide to ehumanlife. ehumanlife abides by the EU Safe Harbor and the Swiss Safe Harbor frameworks as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland, and will, during the Term of the Subscription for ehumanlife , remain certified under the EU and Swiss Safe Harbor programs so long as they are maintained by the United States government. Customer must comply with applicable legal requirements for privacy, data protection, and confidentiality of communications related to its use of ehumanlife.
Additional European Terms.
If Customer has End Users in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the additional terms in this Section 3 will apply. Terms used in this Section that are not specifically defined will have the meaning in Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("EU Data Protection Directive").
ehumanlife and you and your company hereby acknowledge and agree that businesses, medical providers and practices have obligations and liabilities under U.S. federal and state statutes, regulations and common laws that will be directly impacted by your choice of and acquisition of an Electronic Record and/or Medical Billing product, system or service. ehumanlife, you and your company hereby acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility and not ehumanlife's responsibility to perform a due diligence investigation of any Electronic Medical System and/or Medical Billing product, and/or other system or service prior to acquisition to determine the efficacy and appropriateness of the same to you, your business, and/or medical practice. ehumanlife does not practice medicine, and shall not be responsible for the medical outcome of any of your patients, under any circumstances.
